Pellet guns go back way before Daisy made theirs
in the 1880's. Lewis and Clark carried a Girandoni
air rifle with them when the explored the west. The Girandoni
was developed for the Austrian army in 1779 by Bartholomäus

It all depends on the model and who made the pellet gun. I suggest that you re-post the queston with the model and make of the pellet gun to get an answer.
Colt makes a 1911-A1 Pellet gun made by Umarex. I know of no BB gun unless you are asking about an Air Soft gun. The Pellet gun is very good. I can not answer about an Air soft gun.
The Crosman model 150 was made between 1954-1967. It is a .22 cal pellet pistol.
First, check to see that you have a BB gun, and not a pellet gun. Both pellets and BBs are made in .177 cal. A pellet gun will not shoot BBs (in most cases) If your gun IS a BB gun, you will need a gunsmith to check it for damage, stuck items in the barrel, etc.
It depends on the model and the caliber of the Pellet gun.
I think you mean pellet gun. That is a gun that fires a small lead pellet but does not use gun powder. It uses compressed air or compressed gasses to push the pellet.
Daisy made a model 120 pellet rifle from 1984-85. It was made of by El Gamo of Spain.
All of Montgomery Wards Pellet guns were made by Crosman Air Gun company under the name of "Hawthorn" they made several different models. Which one are you asking about.
