Building S-17, also known as the Carroll Building, commissioned after the late Lt. Cmdr. George A. Carroll DSM, is located just inside the gate at CFB Stadacona in Halifax.
Hochelaga and Stadacona were early Indigenous villages located in what is now the Montreal area in Quebec, Canada. Their exact locations are not known today as they were likely destroyed and built over by modern development.
The MacKay Bridge is in the north end of the Halifax Penninsula. The Halifax end passes over what used to be the Africville site, but this had been demolished well before the bridge was built.
