When was oxi clean invented?

Oxyclean was originally called "AAA" for stain remover and was discovered ( not invented )because it existed for many years as a by product that no one knew what to do with. In 1990, my Yorkshire Terrier left a very bright orange stain from medication on my white field oriental carpet as the result of a bladder infection. I tried for over 9 months to remove the stain with no luck, one day I got the idea to find a chemist to see if he could come up with something. His name was Tim and he had a small chemical company in Cearwater, Florida called Johnson & Johnson, no not the Johnson & Johnson. Within a week of speaking with Tim he called to say he had found a compound that might work. And indeed it did work, removing the stain, without yellowing or matting the carpet. Over the next couple of weeks I tried in on every stain I could manufacture or find and to my amazement it worked every time with the exception of silk, it removed the color as well. I was working for a radio network Sun Radio Network, Clearwater Florida so I approached them to advertising AAA on a program called "

The House Doctor" Jeff Williams who at that time was also a contributing editor for Popular Mechanics Magazine featured it as the product of the month and AAA took off. Unfortunately for me I did not have the knowledge of how to protect myself nor did I have the means to take it further.
