In 1976, Terry developed osteogenic sarcoma, a type of bone cancer. After seeing all the suffering cancer caused, he was inspired to raise money for cancer research. So he ran to raise money in hopes of eradicating the disease.
Terry Fox was a Canadian. Known as the inspiration of the Marathon of Hope, Terry Fox died from cancer.
Sadly he had a cancer called BONE CANCER the thing that killed him was some cells of cancer left over from when he lost his leg still left which went to his lungs and he had 2 tumors on each of hid lungs size of golfbàlls
His right leg was amputated in 1977 after he was diagnosed with osteogenic sarcoma (bone cancer)
Terry Fox died because when he was running he got cancer in his leg and then he went to the hospital and then the Doctor gave him a fake leg and after he kept running but every step he ran his fake leg hurted and after that he got cancer in his lungs and then he died at the hospital.
Terry Fox supported every kid who suffured from cancer. As he did.

He actually got a bone cancer plus in 1976 he was playing basketball, suddenly he was having pain on his right knee. He tried to ignore it and continued to play basketball. But in 1977, his leg was unbearable. He went to the hospital and doctors were checking Terry's leg what happened. The result was he got a bone cancer.
