There were treaties signed, but years after the unconditional surrenders (May 8 and September 2, 1945) that actually ended the war.
In February, 1947, the countries allied with Germany signed treaties in Paris. In 1951, there were 48 signatories to the Treaty of San Francisco that formally ended the war with Japan. The USSR signed a separate agreement with Japan in 1956.
The Treaty of Paris of 1783 did. However, there are over 20 different Treaties of Paris, some of which date back to the 1200s and certainly do not recognize the independence of the USA.
The War of 1812 was fought between the United States and British Empire from 1812 to 1815, on land in North America and at sea around the world. Some history books refer to this war as the "War of 1812-14", using the date of the peace treaty as the ending date of the war.

Treaty of VersitilesIf I understand your question correctly you are asking what treaty formally ended the war (World War I) in 1918. There was NO treaty that ended the war in that year (1918). There, however, was an armistice (staring 11NOV1918) that ended the fighting on the Western Front, the only remaining front in the war (more about the Eastern Front in a minute) and so ended the war. The terms of surrender were to be worked out later and came to be known as the Treaty of Versialles which was the formal treaty that ended the war. This treaty was signed by the Germans on June 30, 1919 (not sure of date--might want to check that out). So, it was the Treaty of Versialles, which came into effect into 1919 that formally ended the war. The fighting on the Eastern Front (Russia) had ended in March of 1918 when Russia signed a separate peace treaty with Germany thus withdrawing from the war. But this didn't end all the fighting in World War I. The rest of the Allied powers continued fighting until 11NOV1918.
The official peace treaty was signed on Sept. 3, 1783 but the British soldiers did not leave till years later.
It was signed in 1812
the second world war began in 1939 and ended in 1945. Date specific: September 3, 1939 England and France declard war on Germany, and on September 2, 1945 Japan signed the final peace treaty.

Although the armistice signed on 11 November 1918 ended the actual fighting, it took six months of negotiations at the Paris Peace Conference to conclude the peace treaty. It was signed on 28 June 1919.
The Treaty of Paris of 1783 did. However, there are over 20 different Treaties of Paris, some of which date back to the 1200s and certainly do not recognize the independence of the USA.
The Paris Peace Treaty, which officially ended the American Revolutionary War, was signed on September 3, 1783. This treaty recognized the independence of the United States and established borders for the new nation. The agreement marked a significant turning point in history, solidifying the end of British colonial rule in America.
