A concordance is not added to biblical text, it's a reference indicating where specific words or phrases appear in biblical text. In the book of Jeremiah it speaks of him searching the texts concerning the 70 years of captivity, therefore it's doubtful a concordance existed at that time. Most likely the concordance only existed after the printing press was developed, which allowed for mass printing of texts, which were made available to all men. A concordance is simply a learning and research companion for the Bible. The best and most often referred to concordance is James Strong's work, which took some 27 years to complete.
