Evanecscence is not a Christian band. Evanescence has often been called a Christian band because of the song Tourniquet which was written by their ex-drummer in a Christian point of view many people falsely classified Evanescence as a Christian band.People are very confused about this, and understandably they should be. Evanescence started out in Little Rock, Arkansas as a "Christian Band". They were promoted as a "Christian Band" by all of the Christian community, and they knew the whole time. As a matter of fact, I remember them playing a TNT many times, which was an exclusive Christian venue.Wind-Up Records has a history with recruiting Christian bands with a decent sound, and then getting them to play non-christian music for more money. Creed is a perfect example of this, they were in a similar situation. So Amy Lee may be sick of getting that question asked, but it's her own damn fault. They promoted themselves as Christian band for so long in Arkansas as a local act, that is now part of their official classification.
"Wish You Were Here" is a song by American alternative rock band Incubus and the lead single from their fourth studio album Morning view. It was released 21 August 2001.
