Sting Ray (or Stingray) is just a name that doesn't denote anything special. What I mean by that is that "Sting Ray" or "Stingray" is just a name--it doesn't indicate any higher level of performance or styling or anything. It's not like a Corvette Stingray is a step up from a "regular" Corvette.
