According to the interviews with the founders and curator of the Museum of the Terracotta Army, the precise discovery time was confirmed to be 29 March, 1974, nearly noon, with one head and one arm of a terracotta warrior being dug up. In fact, some fragments of terracotta warriors and parts of their weapons, such as arrowheads, had often come into sight of the local residents. Unfortunately, none of them were esteemed prior to that time. Because of superstitious thoughts in people's mind, some of the findings were even believed to be ominous, and taken back to their findspots. Thus, the Terracotta Army had to sleep and wait a little longer until the recent cocoon-break.
