The White Tower, part of the Tower of London, served multiple functions throughout its history. Originally constructed in the late 11th century as a royal palace and fortress, it was a symbol of power and authority. Over time, it also functioned as a prison, treasury, and armory, housing the Crown Jewels. Its imposing structure and strategic location made it a key defensive stronghold in London.
