Egypt has a peace treaty with Israel dating back to 26th of March 1979. It was signed between Anwar Sadat and Menachem Begin. Jordan has a peace treaty with Israel dating back to October 26, 1994. It was signed between AAbdul Salam Majali and Yitzhak Rabin.
Because President Anwar Sadat of Egypt agreed to a peace treaty with Israel and part of that peace treaty was for Egypt to get their land back (Sinai Peninsula).
The Sinai Peninsula is owned by Egypt, as it was officially returned to Egypt by Israel in 1982 as part of the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty.
