i have one that is a model 77e
$75-$125 depending on condition.
I have seen many. If it is the old hunting version, and in good condition, maybe 2 to 3 hundred. If it is a military stamped gun, more. obviously this depends on condition and who the buyer is.
The Stevens shotgun most commonly employed in Vietnam was the Model 77E. It had a buttstock that was slightly shorter than standard length to accommodate the slighter build of South Vietnamese troops. Some 61,000 Stevens 77E shotguns were sent to Southeast Asia during America's involvement in Vietnam. Today, they are relatively rare collectors items because the vast majority of them (almost 100%) were left in Vietnam when the American forces withdrew.
i found a manual for the 77e on this site.it costs $9. i cant find any for free any where. http://www.nicolausassociates.com/shotguns.htm
Answer Stevens pump shotguns mod77i may be able to help you narrow it down a little i carried a Stevens model 77e in Vietnam in 1967 with the 25 th inf.div. so i think yours was made after 1967 probally before 1970 w/o ser# its impossible to tell if it is blued its probally civilian if grey or dull black finish.military issue.
prices vary on condition of the firearm but a gun in good to excellent condition should bring around $400.00. remember a person can go to the store and purchase a new in the box .410 pumpgun for that price so this one thing can and does often effect the value of a gun.
