Really no way for us to tell- even if you had posted the SN. AMERICAN GUN COMPANY was a Tradename of H. & D. Folsom Company on shotguns made by Crescent Firearms Company. Generally known as "Hardware Guns", Crescent made guns under 100's of different names, starting about 1892, and continuing into the 20's or 30's. Sorry, but really no production records- we have enough trouble just running down the different names.
Well, the WAS no Bellmore Gun Company. Known as "trade name guns", there were inexpensive guns made by the Crescent Company for sale by the H&D Folsom Hardware company. Value will depend on condition, but be about $150. That is a serial number and not a model number.
