Some day. just look at another site please.
Leprechauns are like many other creatures and beings from myth. They are not actually "seen" by humans. The ancient Celts created them ( as well as mermaids, fairies, and other beings) to explain events they didn't understand. Faeries were mean ugly beings that would steal people's souls. This was their way to explain how a person became unconscious and stayed that way for a time. The ancient Celts believed that the soul was taken by the faeries and to get it back a person had to dig into the mound in a fairy ring, but before they could finish the faeries made the human fall to sleep and cast a spell to make the fairy mound whole. There was no science, but there was always questions.
Many have been seen but the only artifacts every found were a Leprechaun suit and bones and 4 gold coins in the pocket of the suit. That was on Carlingford mountain in Co Louth Ireland in 1989 by a man called P.J.OHare.You can see it on Utube under a "Carlingford Leprechaun" search. There are now only 236 left in the whole of Ireland and they live below that mountain.
Never. I am Irish and I know that they are only things of peoples imaginations. If you find one then that would be the first time. Because they don't exist!
No you can not catch leprachauns there are still some, but they are mostly myths.
