The firstSookie Stackhouse novel, Dead Until Dark, came out in 2001. Then the next nine books continued to be published and readers are awaiting the tenth novel in the series, A Touch of Dead, which is scheduled to be released on October 6, 2009. I wrote this passage on Monday June 29, 2009, so if the tenth book has already come out when you read this I am probably knee deep in it, and may I say that this series of novels has been one of my absolute favorites. I still love Eric Northman, the insanely sexy Fangtasia bar owner/ vampire sheriff/ vampire himself, the most. Although I haven't finished the series yet so my opinion could always change. I also love the HBO adaption of the series, but in my opinion they need to start following the books a little more, but they've also got the most superb, sexy, amazing cast doing the job so I think they'll do great. I AM AN ALL AMERICAN TRUE BLOOD GIRL TILL DEATH DO I PART FROM IT. 8-) (-8
Sookie Stackhouse is the protagonist in Sookie Stackhouse books (also known as The Southern Vampire Mysteries) by Charlene Harris and the popular HBO show TrueBlood. She is a small-town telepathic waitress in Bon Temps.
Sookie Stackhouse was created in 2001.
Sookie Stackhouse's mother is called: Michelle Stackhouse and her Father's name is: Corbett Stackhouse
The first season of True Blood is pretty similar to the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series but the other seasons do not closely follow the books and therefore do not have any corresponding books.
As of now, Charlaine Harris has concluded the Sookie Stackhouse series with the final book "Dead Ever After" released in 2013. She has not indicated that she plans to write any more books in this series.
The 12th Sookie Stackhouse is called Deadlocked and it comes out May, 1, 2012.
It's "Sookie" Stackhouse, and her actor in TrueBlood is Anna Paquin

Sookie isn't a real fairy she's 1/8 fairy because here real grandad was 1/2 fairy.
As of my last update, there is no official announcement regarding a new Sookie Stackhouse book. Charlaine Harris, the author of the series, has not confirmed any future additions to the series.
