When were toes built?

The first record of toes being built was in the early 12th century and were formally discovered by a sir Bobby volbright and a madam Lamuel Pukus.

Prior to this discovery, people were not known to have toes. Infact they only had stumpy feet which were primarily used for sex and stirring milk to make butter.
