false, australians use jumping saddles, dressage saddles, and western saddles. although if this is a trick question, i guess all those saddles would be in the country of australia, therefore australian, unless of course you count where they are made.
Yes
They aren't. Arabs have one less rib than other breeds of horses but that is unrelated to western saddles.

Boots and Saddles
In the horse world, you can have many types of saddles, but the two basic saddles are English and western. There is a cross between the two of them, but not as much people ride in them. The western saddle is much bigger and heavier than the English one, and has a horn. The cross is shaped as a western saddle, but does not have a horn.
There actually are. Depending on what discipline you use, or what kind of competition you are in, specialized saddles and multipurpose saddles are used all the time, in both English and Western disciplines
Western show saddles are supposed to be really fancy to attract the judge's attention. The silver is simply there for looks. As for English show saddles, silver just isn't their type. They probably hold the silver for several reasons: English saddles are made looking simple, not fancy. Even dressage saddles aren't too complicated. Here's another. English saddles are made small, probably so that the horse will not have as much weight on its back and move more elegantly. The silver would add weight.
Blazing saddles? Blazing Saddles
the ones that are tooled (decorated) are mostly for show. lots of leisure saddles have no tooling.
they made saddles. this was an important kob back then because every one used horses to get around. there are still saddles around today but im sure there made by machines.
