they bombed Pearl Harbour because the wanted to get even with the US navy for blocking their supply routs they bombed it on December 7th, 1941. they also wanted to cripal the US pacific fleet because they where just wakeing up a a sleeping giant my frends.
Before the war, the US was not blockading anything. What the US, Britain, Free France, and Holland did was cut off oil and iron trade with Japan.

∙ 18y agoJapan and US were on talking terms, trying to negotiate the oil problem. That was the us was threatening to stop oil flow to japan. This angered japan. While on talking terms, japan went behind the us's back and started planning the big "takedown". They planned this out like weeks, possibly months before it all went down. The us had not suspected anything like that to happen because they felt they were improving the relations between both countries.
