Matt Hardy was released from the WWE on October 15th, 2010. He was released because he was unhappy with the WWE and was pushing for a release through YouTube videos and other avenues for a few weeks. WWE obliged in October and released him from his WWE contract. On January 9th 2011, Hardy debuted in TNA.
