The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, is set in in the providence of Skyrim, yes. However there are many mods on the PC versionthat you can download that allow you to visit other areas of Tamriel, such as Elsweyr and Morrowind. These are fan-made modifications, not official, but are very good.If you purchase the official Dragonborn DLC, you can also travel to Solstheim, an island about a quarter the size of Skyrim, where you will meet new NPCs, access new weapons, new alchemical ingredients, a new player home and be given a new questline to complete.
