WikiAnswers and Wikipedia share the same basic idea -- the Wiki. A wiki is a dynamic, up-to-date database of information supported by volunteers, experts, and users that is constantly being improved by revision and contributions. So basically, the answers you get on WikiAnswers are never sealed (with some exceptions); there is always room to build upon previous information, which is why people love this site so much!
The answers are put in by the members and users of this website.
wikipedia is a good website too. it give you stuff that is more detailed like for a report. but it doesnt have the wider selection and easier answers like wikianswers have. (wikianswers is funner!)
Like this site (Wikianswers), Wikipedia is a user driven website. But both have rules to follow.
Wikipedia is like WikiAnswers for a lot of the things so they get their answeers from people like me.
That's exactly what it is.
To link to a website in HTML, you would do something like this:Answers, where the word "Answers" is what would become the clickable link. (Wikianswers formatting makes the http... become the link here).
No; wikiHow is its own wiki (a how-to manual, like Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia, and WikiAnswers is a QA site, etc.).
No, WikiAnswers is not another version of Wikipedia. Whilst they are both based on wiki technology, their aim is very different: WikiAnswers provides answer to specific questions; Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is similar in the way that it uses the 'wiki' format - meaning that anybody can edit the information. Other then that, there are many differences. WikiAnswers is used when the user wants a specific answer to a specific question; Wikipedia is used when the user wants an article on a topic.
Yes, ! I love this website!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, because they wanted it to be like wikipedia.
I like WikiAnswers.
If you do not like this website than don't use it. WikiAnswers is a great website and provides great answers to questions but if you do not like it then you do not have to use it.
