well, if the trees carry on being cut down, and destroying their habitats, then they won't last for too long. Some are dying, but the good thing is with a rainforest they have plenty of food, and lots more places to live for now, but if they carry on cutting them down, orangutans and other animals are in danger by far. It is predicted they will last a few years, perhaps 2+
