Ground should break some time during the late summer of 2008, as permits must be obtained first (some time in June/July 2008). It should start employing people in spring of 2009 and be ready for business by late summer of 2009. However, it will not be at 100% capacity for several years.

∙ 14y agoThe new Winco Distribution center in Boise is located on the South East side of town at the end of Eisenman road. Basically right accross the freeway (I-84) from Micron. On current roads you would exit I-84 at Gowen road, turning West. You would then turn South on Eisenman and drive past the Outlets. Eisenman road use to be a dead-end road, and the Winco Distribution center was built at the end of the road. However, there will now be a new off-ramp from the I-84 at the South End of Eisenman, making it no longer a dead-end road.
The distribution center seems to be nearly complete, so if you drive down that way you will have no problem finding it.
