Simply because it is not the same writer ... Aoki Takao does not work on Beyblade anymore. You have to understand that Beyblade stopped four or five years ago because it was not popular enough. Therefore, years later, TAKARA-TOMY wants to start the series again but with things that will not lead to ruins again, like with Beyblade G Revolution. They really needed new characters, because there is nothing else they could have done with the old characters. Now, Adachi Takafumi is drawing the manga.

The Best way to make a beyblade stronger is by traing the pieces but if you want suggestions, what beylade to start off with then it would probbally be Earth Eagle or Flame Sagittario, but its your choice. :P And Yes stamina type and balance type would probally best.
