No you are right... UK release date of Eclipse is 3rd of July...but the whispers are....its because the stars are going to make the UK premier.. so it wouldn't be any good if it was the same time as the premier in the states...

No your wrong, it comes out on the 2nd July at midnight (UK) and 3rd July (UK). As special previews, and then after that its properly out in the UK, because ive booked tickets for the 3rd July.

As of December 20th 2009, you can now book your tickets for Eclipse. However, you will have to go in to the cinema consortium to purchase tickets as many online systems will not have updated their systems until a month before the films official release.
