Season 6? Episode 10 of Season 5 just aired out of 22 and the next new ep will not air until Jan 21. Even with that, Erik Kripke, The creator, said he is not sure there will be a season 6. When he first created the show, he said he only wanted 5 seasons and didn't even think it would get that far. But now that it is at season 5 and now one of the top 10 most watched shows, he's playing with a few ideas. He is thinking of making a 6th season, he said he may do a spin off, among other ideas.
Season 6 has been confirmed to start in September 2010 (think that's U.S, not sure about U.K) Erik Kripke will not be directing the new series but will still be involved in adding "creative ideas"
