When will the end time happen and what are its signs?

The Apostles asked Jesus this same question and His answer may be read in Matthew 24; Mark 13; and Luke 21. Concerning the 'when' see below:

Answer:

According to John... the "end time" [or 'last days' or 'last hour'] were going on as he was writing to the church:

"Dear children, the Last Hour IS HERE. You have heard that the antichrist is coming, and ALREADY many such antichrists have appeared. From this WE KNOW that the end of the world [the last hour; same term as the first part of the sentence] has come. These people [antichrists] LEFT OUR CHURCHES because they never really belonged with us; otherwise they would have stayed with us. When they left us, it proved that they did not belong with us." (I John 2:18-19 NLT New Living Translation)

The birth of Jesus Christ "marked" the beginning of the "end time." Until Christ came... there could be no "anti" Christ.

So, from the birth of Christ and until He returns to establish the Kingdom of God on earth as He promised... those generations who have lived and died, and shall live and die, have been... and ARE... living in the Last Hour [the end time]!

It's a developmental process on earth that's building and leading up to THE END OF ALL LIFE ON EARTH... unless Jesus does return to save man and the earth from man's errant rule on earth:

"For that will be a time of greater horror than anything the world has ever seen or will ever see again. In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened [by God], THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE WILL BE DESTROYED. But it will be shortened for the sake of God's chosen ones." (Matt.24:21-22 NLT)

Jesus tells us to "watch" for that time: "Keep a constant watch. And PRAY that, if possible, you may escape these horrors and stand before the Son of Man." (Luke 21:36 NLT)

Look at the world! It's HAPPENING all around us every day. It's building and developing. Mad Men; political, military and religious rule the world... armed to the teeth with weapons capable of killing off many worlds like this one.

It's not that hard to see for those with the eyes to see it.

Jesus describes the signs in Matthew 24, verses 4 thru 29. It begins with an apostate "false Christianity" and a growing worldwide hatred of His very Name.
