well either we will continue to feel small earthquakes or get around 8.0 earthquake, when, no one can say, but probably soonish. either way you should be prebared with extra food and water, a first aid kit, a tent and camping equiptment. those are the basic, you can go to your local fire station for a list of disastor preparedness items and a map of your area on where to find local shelters. Hope I Helped!
yes, many. just as there are earthquakes everywhere on earth.
Earthquakes cannot be predicted with any accuracy.
There is currently no way to predict earthquakes, especially "The Earthquake"
There is no actual time period in which the earthquake will happen, but since the disaster that just happened in Japan, California is due for an earthquake anytime in the near future.
Till now, there haven't been any such instrument developed which could predict the happening of earthquakes.

There is no way of predicting an earthquake, but it is unlikely that a major earthquake will strike a location on any given day. The San Andreas Fault probably isn't capable of generating something as large as an 8.9.
because california is a beatiful place and people like to live in california by a earthquake zonw
is there ever going to be a earthquake in Florida
California sits an a variety of fault lines and it is only a matter of when, not if, a big earthquake will occur. Scientists say it's a certainty. They just don't know the exact time it will happen.
Earthquakes still can't be predicted, but London isn't located in an area that's particularly seismically active.
