He might not ever stop being jealous, but that doesn't necessarily mean it is a bad thing. Some people don't mind a little bit of jealousy from their spouse because it does give a boost to their self esteem that they are still wanted by their spouse and adored by them to a point of being afraid of being lost to someone else.
