Very few states allow the emancipation of minors. Those states that do have grounds and procedures rarely grant emancipation rights to a minor for reasons other than to allow the minor to be adopted or be placed in state custody to receive public assistance. There is no court in any state with emancipation status that would allow a minor to become emancipated for the purpose of cohabitation.
Yes i beileve that it is ok that you can move in with your boyfiends because when i was 18 i was told to go to the court house and sign papers to be emancipated and i did.... i live with my boyfriends family and have been here for about 3 years since i have signed them papers... when you emancipate yourself you are no longer under there rules you are on your own.... moving in with there parents could say taht you do not have a place to go so when they take you under there wing they gave you a place to stay........
She is single. Her ex-boyfriend lives in London.

In NV a minor who is at least 16 can petition the juvenile court for emancipation. You better have a better reason then wanting to live with your baby
he's not famous and he doesnt live in the US
He and Justin are forever in Manhattan. I live there, and Justin is my boyfriend &+ Christian is dating my seester.
No judge in any state will emancipate a minor if her intention upon being emancipated is to move in with her boyfriend. That is not the purpose of emancipation.
Yes, but depending on where you live only if you're legally emancipated.
They are emancipated and can live where they wish. They are responsible for their own housing and sustinance.
Yes at 16 you can move out in most parts of the world. And you can stay with your boyfriend .
At 16, you need parental permission anyways just to be emancipated. But with parental permission, I think she can live with her boyfriend. The only problem would be that she's a minor and he's not, but I think she is much less a minor when emancipated.
Nope. Not until you are either emancipated or 18 years old.
If you are emancipated you are considered an adult. You can live where you want to.
NO but it would help if you did anyways
Depends...... What state do you live in, have you been emancipated? Are your legal gaurdian(s) okay with this? Unless you are emancipated as a youth, your gaurdian(s) get to make those decisions for you. Sorry :(
Once a person is emancipated they can live in their own apartment or home. The emancipated can also live with a sibling or other family member if they choose.
Only if the minor has been legally emancipated by the court. And no judge is going to emancipate a minor so they can go live with their boyfriend. When you turn 18 you can move anywhere you want.
No. Until she is 18 or emancipated, she has to live where her parents say.
