When you breathe in, your muscles tighten to allow for the expansion of your chest. It is possible that you have a nerve problem in your neck, shoulders or back that is causing the pain in your hands. If you have a pinched nerve, the added tightness of the muscles will put more pressure on that particular nerve. Therefore, causing pain. Pain when breathing could be a sign of many different things. It could be as serious as a central nervous system problem or a simple as a muscle or ligament problem. Perhaps you should see a doctor for a proper diagnosis.

im sorry but i fail to see the connection of MY breathing and YOUR hands =P
