I know mine doesn't. When I bought the full version, it no longer saved what I had already done. So in order for me to play it without all of my progress getting deleted, I can never get off of the game and I can never fully turn my iPod off. I'm not sure if there is something wrong with my ipod or not, but this is what happened to me.
