yes if you respect god and love him and be greatful of what u have. you never need anything. its gods desision if u go to heaven not yours.

No. We do not go to Heaven or to Hell when we die. There is a second coming of Christ in which the righteous will be resurrected and the wicked will be put to death. Then, after 1000 years, the wicked are resurrected and the Earth is turned into a lake of fire and they suffer second death. This does not last forever (as we know it). Then the Earth and Heaven fade away and the New Heaven and New Earth take over.

Answer:

That's between you and God. The next time you awake after death it will be on the day of judgement, and all you need to know is: Is your name written in the book of life? The only requirement is that you admit that you need help and ask Jesus to save you...as well as living like a Christian should. Loving another, exposing evil, destroying false doctrines, building homes for others, etc.

Christian view

you have to accept Jesus in your life, get baptized, and bee full of God, the Son, and The Holly Spirit! also you have to believe and live it!

Muslim view

You go to Heaven per God, the Creator, Mercy if:

  • You worship God as the one and only one God with no partner, no son, no companion, no associate and no equivalence,
  • do ritual worships
  • follow God commands as for what to do and what not to do
  • You do good deeds for the benefit of yourself, family, neighbors, community, mankind, and environment
  • maintain good morals

Truthfully, no one knows. While it can be interpreted so, only the words of Christ give this indication; Christ told the tied being crucified with him that they would be together that night in "paradise."

It is unknown if you do or if you don't, but if you were doing good things in your past life, not bad, there is a great chance you arrive in heaven when you die. If you were bad and did bad things in your past life, it is known to arrive in the place known as hell.

Going to heaven has much to do with your belief in what heaven is and what is required for you to get there.

Depends, though it requires more than belief in God since the Devil believes in God and he is obviously not going to heaven.

I believe (I am a Christian) it requires an acceptance of Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

Another Answer From Another Christian:

No. You do not go to heaven immediately after you die. When a man dies, his body returns to the dust, his soul cleaves to the dust, and his spirit returns to God. The dead man is put to rest until Judgement Day, when the Lord will return to earth and the man will be resurrected. If the dead man is part of the first resurrection, he is going to heaven. Though, if he is part of the second resurrection, he is going to be condemned... There are only two types of resurrections.

And if the man is alive when Judgement Day arrives... he will either be thrown into the lake of fire... or go to heaven, depending on whether he was evil or godly. Godly men will be saved.

When you die, you only go to heaven if you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins.

Dan:12:2: And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

1Thes:4:16: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

If you die, you sleep until the resurrection.

Acts:2:29: Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

Acts:2:34: For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

Jn:5:28: Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

Jn:5:29: And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Jn:11:24: Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

Acts:24:15: And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

No, you only do if your one of the 140,000 annointed by Jehovah God you will go up to heaven with God when you die.

That depends a great deal on how you define heaven. One interpretation of the scriptures is that between death and resurrection you dwell in an intermediate state, a "spirit world" if you will, where the righteous dwell in a state of happiness under the influence of the Holy Spirit, looking forward to the resurrection and being reunited with their physical bodies while the wicked are cut off from the presence of the Spirit and await the resurrection in a state of uncertainty, perhaps in fear of reaping the consequences of their actions. Another view is that between death and final judgement, individuals are in an insensate state, unconscious in other words. A third view is that the righteous go straight to God and the wicked straight to incomprehensible suffering in Hell.

I personally subscribe to the first interpretation. Christ's words on the cross to the thief suggest an intermediate state - as does I Peter 3:19 where Peter writes of Christ seeing to the teaching of the spirits of those who were disobedient in the time of Noah before the flood and who are apparently in a type of "prison". I would suggest that you are the same person when you die as you were in your mortal life - but minus the physical body - so if you were a follower of Christ who drew near to him while alive, you would continue to be that same kind of person when you died, while those alienated from Christ would still be alienated and separate from him.

There's my two bits for what it's worth.

Typically, one would say "yes", but this question is rather vague.

In the belief of Catholics, Heaven is reached through loving and serving the Lord, honoring the Ten Commandments, and avoiding sin (as well as asking God's forgiveness if these wishes are ignored).

As long as your soul is deemed worthy, it is believed that God will accept you into heaven with open arms.

One of the central beliefs of Judaism is that the soul continues to exist and is treated in accordance with the person's actions while he or she was alive. All outstanding accounts are settled after this life. Some cases illustrate this point, since this entire world wouldn't be enough to reward a Moses or punish a Hitler. And while we're alive, knowledge of the future world serves as one of the motivations to keeping God's will.
The Hebrew Bible does not delve into detail of the rewards of the righteous, because belief in the afterlife was shared by all ancient societies and needed little reiteration. Besides, it would be like describing the colors of a sunrise to someone who was blind from birth.
It is, however, referred to briefly in verses such as Genesis 15:15, which states that "You (Abraham) will come to your fathers in peace and will be buried in good old age." Coming to his fathers does not mean simply to be buried with them, since Abraham was not buried with his ancestors. Such verses are stated many times.
The prophets are more explicit with such references (see Isaiah 26:19 and 66:24, Daniel 12:13, Zechariah 3:7, 1 Kings 8:30, 2 Kings ch.2, Ecclesiastes 12:7). The afterlife is spoken of at length in the Talmud. More than 20 pages of Talmud (Sanhedrin 90-110, Rosh Hashanah 16-18, and other passages) are given to this subject.

If there is a heaven, we actually know nothing about it or what happens there. Although there is no evidence that heaven exists, for many it is comforting to believe that we can live forever and go to a more pleasant place, called heaven, when we die.
Although heaven is probably just wishful thinking, those willing to believe will find plenty of biblical evidence that we go to heaven when we die.

One of the central beliefs of Judaism, as stated in the Talmud (Mishna, Sanhedrin 11:1) and codified by Maimonides (1135-1204), is that the soul continues to exist and is treated in accordance with the person's actions while he or she was alive. This applies to all people, whatever their religion.
The Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) doesn't dwell at length on the afterlife; and nor does Judaism spend a lot of time speculating on its details. However, that is not meant to diminish from its importance. Rather, the Torah implies that we are to use the bulk of our energies in keeping God's ways in this world, with our feet firmly planted on Earth, while nonetheless not losing awareness of our beliefs.
Our ancient sages stated the importance of being aware of the next world: "This world is a mere entrance-hall before the afterlife" (Mishna, Avot ch.4).

All outstanding accounts are settled after this life. Some cases illustrate this point, since this entire world wouldn't be enough to reward a Moses or punish a Hitler. And while we're alive, knowledge of the future world serves as one of the motivations to keeping God's will.

The Tanakh does not delve into detail of the rewards of the righteous because religions could compete with more and more poetic promises. Also because belief in the afterlife was shared by all ancient societies and needed little reiteration. Besides, it would be like describing the colors of a sunrise to someone who was blind from birth.
It is, however, referred to briefly in Torah verses such as Genesis 15:15, which states that "You (Abraham) will come to your fathers in peace and will be buried in good old age." Yes tigers do go to heaven because they have a soul. In fact all animals go to heaven because they all have a soul! By: Elizabeth They don't go to heaven. because in Genesis 2:7 says And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul.
