When you go to clean your newly pierced ears does it hurt when you twist the earrings?

I'm no expert, but when I twisted mine, It didn't hurt. Not even when I lay on them for the first time at night, I think my ears are super sensitive, but super strong! It might hurt the first few times for you though, but this is only because your ear isn't used to the earrings, so it is irritated, but the ear should become use to it after the first couple of times!

when you get your ears pierced you should clean them every day. When I got mine done I put a bit of salt into warm water a bathed them using a cotten bud. If they start to feel better you shoud try to slowly twist the earing round in your ear.

If you clean your ears 3 times a day and twist them about 3 times a day aswell they should be fine but if you don't look after them propley, they probably will. But i would say no. Good luck :)

I think you were told not to mess with it other than to clean it, the piercing will twisat in time dont force it and more over just clean it and leave it alone, try pushing and pulling gently but only when cleaning.

Sure you can. Ear piercings only go bad, if you don't look after them. Make sure you clean it with either antiseptic or warm salt water twice a day, and with clean hands twist the stud around throughout the day. Trust me on this one, I have my ears pierced twice on the lobe and three times on the cartilage (at the top and middle of my right & the bottom bit of cartilage on the left) and I swim 3 times a week for a club.
