No, you just pay for the contract.
A prepaid phone is a phone you pay for ahead of time and for every minute or text sent usually in a package format such as 200 minutes or 200 texts. A contract phone is a phone you pay the same for no matter what every month depending on the type of contract signed.
Contract: is for, say, 18 or 24 months. You pay a basic fee each month, usually for inclusive calls/texts/internet useage. Prepaid: which is quite rare these days. You Pay up front for the length of the contract, say, the year, again for an agreed amount of calls/texts. Any calls/texts/internet over and above the agreed amount are billed each month. The other option is obviously, 'pay as you go' You normally by the phone, buy a SIM then pay a 'top-up' charge every time you need minutes/texts.
How much you pay depends on what you want your service to do for you: do you want to send texts and pictures, use the Internet, make international calls? A minimal cell phone bill in a contract is usually around $35-$40 dollars.
Pay as you go is where you buy a top up voucher in a shop (usually £5 or £10) and every time you make a call or send a text, the money is taken off until you have no money left. Then you go and buy another voucher. Contract is where you pay a certain amount of money each month and you get as many calls and texts as you like. Pay as you go is better if you don't really call or text that much. Contract is better if you do call or text a lot.
There are two main types of pay monthly mobile phone contracts: 1) with a contract, and 2) without contract. With a ContractIf you opt to get a fixed term pay monthly mobile phone with contract, for 12 to 36 months your mobile phone is connected to an exclusive network. The phone itself is included in the contract, and you can use a pre-determined number of free calls, data, and text messages per month.Without a ContractWith a pay monthly mobile phone without a contract, you have your own mobile phone and what the provider does is simply to connect you to their network on a monthly basis. There's no contract, and so you can change providers anytime you want.
It depends on your mobile phone plan.
I have that phone, and sadly no, but there is a contract on Vodafone to get 300 free texts and 1 active data pack (wi-fi), but you have to pay £10 a month - though Vodafone doesn't force you to pay - if you don't pay, then you just don't get free texts and wi-fi.
the difference is that if you are on lets say a $49 CAP. it means that you will only pay $49 and you will get all the free calls and texts included. but if you are on a $49 PLAN that $49 is for "renting" the phone and you will have to top up your credit depending on how much you usually spend on calls if you where on a pre-paid thing.
Get a "pay as you go" phone plan. You only pay when you use it. No contract. Depending on the carrier you should be able to use any unlocked phone.
Yes, but it depends on the type of plan you are on. Typically a contract plan will send you this information every month. If you are on a no contract plan you will need to probably pay an additional fee monthly to get itemized calling information on your phone. This can cost anywhere from $5.00 to $15.00 a month.
usually when you have a no contract phone you do not have to pay a monthly bill you pay as you go, like a pre-paid cell phone, but now a days these phone companies are making phones that are no contract where you pay like $50/ month.
