u need to set the air fuel screw
Intake is 0.001-0.003 and exhaust is 0.003-0.005. Once this is done your compression will increase and the machine will start better. Trust me it was amazing.
Not Even Pull Start?Mine would pull start but not electric. I found out that it was just a bad wire, so I put tape on it and it worked.
# it could be the batte or the olternater
get out a socket kit and start unbolting everything that connects it...that how its done on anything with bolts..just take your time and it will be quite easy and quick
I had this problem with my 95 sidekick. It was the fuel filter gone bad.
The VS800 has a screen inside the tank that they (Suzuki) call a fuel filter. The say it never needs replaced. Other than that.. there is no fuel filter.
I had the same problem a couple of years ago turned out to be a fuel pump.if I put gas in the cylinder it would run but soon stall hope this helps.
fuel pump
There os a knob on the left side of the machine. It has a black knob and a few positions reading "ON" , "RES" , & "PRI" On is for normal operation. RES is to switch to the reserve fuel, and PRI is to prime the engine if it is cold to start. Hope this helps.
You need to check the up stream or dirty side of the intake system
Spray some carburetor cleaner into the intake. If it starts then the problem is ignition related.i have just learned that it could also be a very dirty air intake filter, if the filter is clogged combustion cannot take place.jay
Start with replacing the fuel filter.
