Screw case depth is the depth at which the outer hardness of the screw is defined to. Typically tapping screws have a inner core hardness that is 'softer' than the threads, as the treads are forming (rolling/cutting) threads into another material. This outer hardness must meet a minumum hardness (eg. 45 HRC min) for a certain depth into the material, the case depth, after which the hardness drops off to the core hardness (eg. 28-38 HRC) .
I don't know if this is what you meant, but all sound sound is caused by vibrations. So vibrating air waves?
Wavelength = 0.15 m Wavespeed = 0.15 . 2 = 0.3 m/s
wind instruments are commonly called organ pipes they produce sound when air is blown through them where as percussion instruments produce sound by tapping sharply or striking
There is a slight possibility that light tapping on the housing may break it free, but too hard of a hit will break the housing. If the thermostat does free up it is most likely going to stick again. The best bet is to replace the thermostat.
tapping is a metal cutting process & rolling is a forming process.
just keep on tapping left(<-), down (| ) , and attack button (default d) continuously and u are done............. v

20 thousand gallons I know that's a lot
Sounds like valvetrain noise. Insufficient oil, pressure or lash a little loose.
try slightly tapping the heater fan with a piece of metal pipe and if fan does not start running it is dead and must be replaced.
yes it is, it is annoying
Amanda Tapping is Canadian.
Could be an exhaustn leak, however, probably a loose pushrod. If it is running alright, it won't be for long unless you get the valves adjusted.
Is the engine tapping when running? If not, check the oil level. If the oil level is at the full mark on the dip stick, then check the oil sending switch. My just need to replace it. Easy fix if that is your problem.
