This is a very good question. In fact, I had to do a science project about rot. So I used cornstarch in water. It actually does rot after a week or two. I put some of this mixture in a bag and left it in a container for a couple of weeks. After a while it started to turn green and blue. Sure enough it was rot.
Flour and corn starch are measured the same, but the results aren't always the same.
You will need corn starch, tissues, and a warm (clothing) iron 1. Put corn starch on the oil stain let it sit over night 2. Dab the tissues on the corn starch they will absorb the corn starch and oil 3. If you don't have corn starch put tissues on the oil stain and put a warm iron on the tissues
Corn starch is a product made from the starch of corn. A flower is one of those colourful things that grow in the garden and we cut and put into bouquets.
when you put corn starch in water mix it well throw it in the microwave and you have a gel.
You mix water and corn starch (food coloring is optional) on a 2:1 ratio. Example: 2 cups corn starch and 1 cup water. If you add food coloring, either put it in the water to mix it in easier or just put it in after and swirl it (the second option is way cooler). Hope this helps! :)
3 tbsp of corn starch 2 tbsp of water 2 drops of food coloring (if desired) Take a large mixing bowl put the corn starch in add the water. The mud will be hard to mix. So there you go, magic mud!

heres a really cool experiment, get a egg, but don't peel the shell, and then put the egg, corn starch, and water all into a bowl, and then leave it overnight, but make sure you cover the top, and when you take it out after 3 days you'll find out what will happen to the egg.
