Well, it could be a bad DS card or you could try this:
Turn off your DS and pop out the card. Turn it back on again. Check your DS is fine.
Turn off and pop in again. Make sure it is not in the GB slot for gameboy games and it is the right way up and around. If you are jamming it in, it's not the right way up.
When the card is rightly put in, turn on the DS. Click on your game and it will probably work.
If this fails, turn off and check if the card is damaged. If it is new you may be able to get a refund or replacement from the store you bought it in.
If it freezes, turn off DS, pop out card, put back in and try again.
