On this view, Christians are born as Muslims but became Christians with baptism. Muslims believe that Jesus was not the Son of God, but merely a messenger of Allah.
Islam teaches Jesus was a powerful prophet. Christian believe Jesus is much more then just a prophet, Jesus is the Word of God made flesh who died on the cross for our sins otherwise we would all be owned by the Devil because of our sin.

Muslims believe in his teachings and miracles but do not view him as the son of God or part of a Trinity. Some sects of Judaism also see Jesus as a Jewish teacher and prophet but do not accept his divinity.
