When you take a urine drug test and they send it to the lab to test it can the lab tell the difference between adderall and vavyasne?
If someone is taking both adderall and methamphetamines can you tell the difference on a urine screen?
Yes. adderall is an amphetamine salt, while methamphetamine has a methylated unit on the amphetamine. When doing a confirmatory spectrophotometer they can tell the difference between the methylated and unmethylated version. Your body will not add a methyl group to the amphetamine- that is the drug. Ephedra/psuedoephedrine will not cause this difference either. I got this info from a doc at the lab that does the tests-
Adderall XR will appear in a urine tox screen for anywhere from 36-72hrs (and possibly longer). To facilitate excretion of Adderall (XR or instant release/generic), as it is an alkaline (aka basic substance)....drink vinegar. White, pure vinegar will acidify the environment in which the Adderall is, thereby speeding the process by which it becomes undetectable on a urine toxicology screen.
You seem to mean Adderall, Adderol is incorrect. Urine testing can reveal Adderall for 1 to 4 days after use. After heavy chronic use, Adderall can be detectable in urine for up to 5 to 7 days. Blood testing can detect Adderall for about 12 hours. Hair testing can reveal Adderall during 3 months, providing 1.5 inches of growth. The shorter the person's hair is, the shorter the detection period will be.
