A stand-alone environment is a term that is usually used when referring to express technology software. A stand-alone environment is simply a network that runs by itself.
Usually when people talk about a BM, they mean a "bowel movement" (aka defecation) or if they leave out the word "a" and just talk about "BM", then they may be referring to the fecal material or poop.
When people talk about computer resources, they are usually referring to the available memory in RAM and the amount of time the CPU has available to execute an instruction.
The referring physician is usually your "Family physician". If you were having trouble sleeping for example, you usually would talk to your doctor who might recommend a sleep study. Your doctor would become the "referring physician" to the sleep study. If, during the sleep study, you appeared to have seizures, a neurologist might be called in as a "consulting physician".
In a way... Whenever Marge mentions "snuggling" she's usually referring to intercourse. There are also a few episodes where sex is directly alluded to.

"Environment" is everything around us. It's not that we _NEED_ an environment; we _HAVE_ an environment. What we NEED is a GOOD environment. For example, the Moon has an environment; it's an environment that doesn't include air, or water, and has alternately too much and too little sunlight. On Earth, our environment includes air, water, and temperature. I prefer the environment of the beach rather than icy mountains, but that's a personal preference. When people talk about taking care of, or preserving the environment, what they are referring to is the good conditions of clean water, fresh air, and no extremes of temperature.
