I believe it's time you change your serpentine belt. The belt is loose and is spinning slower than the pulley. Your serpentine belt helps everything function which leads to the battery staying charged.
Evaporation
sleet
it drops down and feels good
your alternator is going bad
the anode-cathode voltage drops
What happening is the water droplets have evaporated.
A spark, a ruined battery and possible an exploding battery.
Probably more than one reason but, I find sometimes if a few drops of antifreeze gets splashed on the belt it eventually squeaks no matter what you try to do to cure it except replacement.
you need the alternator to charge the battery with no alternator when the battery drops to about 10 volts car will not run at all.
A dead short occurs which can result in the battery exploding A completion in the external circuit of the battery
Have you had the Battery checked to see if its still good ? Sometimes just one cell in the battery drops out of the circuit and you have to dice the battery and get a new one. Cheers.
Yes. They will also be lost if the battery drops below 12v.
