Where can I find a nightlight that only turns on when both the power is out, and motion is detected, AND it is also dark?

I have a bathroom outlet wired in series with the light and switch, so when the light is turned off, so is the outlet. This light needs to be battery powered, not rechargeable (because the outlet will almost always be OFF. Yes, I have most certainly searched the web for such a lamp but as with many searches I perform, this is far too specific a need for Google to handle.

There are several options available for a nightlight that meets all of the criteria you mentioned. Here are some suggestions:

Amazon: You can find a variety of power-outage and motion-sensing nightlights on Amazon. One option is the GE Ultrabrite Motion-Activated LED Night Light, which only turns on in low light conditions when motion is detected, and has a battery backup for power outages.

Home Depot: Home Depot also offers a range of power-outage and motion-sensing nightlights. One option is the Mr Beams Motion-Sensing LED Night Light, which is battery-powered and turns on only when motion is detected in low light conditions.

Lowes: Lowes also has a selection of power-outage and motion-sensing nightlights. One option is the Utilitech LED Night Light, which has a built-in battery backup and turns on only when motion is detected in low light conditions.

Walmart: Walmart carries several power-outage and motion-sensing nightlights as well. One option is the Vont LED Motion Sensor Night Light, which is battery-powered and turns on only when motion is detected in low light conditions.

Be sure to read the product descriptions and reviews carefully to ensure that the nightlight you choose meets all of your requirements.

What else can I help you with?

How does a motion sensor timer switch work to control the lighting in a room?

A motion sensor timer switch works by detecting movement in a room and automatically turning the lights on or off based on the presence of people. When motion is detected, the switch activates the lights, and after a set period of inactivity, it turns the lights off to save energy.

How does a sensor light switch work to automatically turn on lights when it detects motion?

A sensor light switch works by using motion sensors to detect movement in its vicinity. When motion is detected, the sensor sends a signal to the switch, which then turns on the lights automatically. This allows the lights to be activated without the need for manual operation, providing convenience and energy efficiency.

How stairs lighting time delay switch works?

A stairs lighting time delay switch is designed to activate lights when someone enters a stairway and then keep them illuminated for a set duration after the last movement is detected. It typically uses motion sensors to detect presence and control the lighting circuit. When motion is sensed, the switch turns on the lights, and a timer starts counting down. If no further motion is detected before the timer expires, the lights automatically turn off, ensuring safety and energy efficiency.
