Well there is a child labor law, but if you are really wanting something or trying to help out with money problems in your house there is options. You could go with the ususal babysitting, cleaning house, or mowing. Some people don't like that or need a consistent job, so maybe try acting at a local theater. It isn't to complicated and it may lead to you become more than just a small town actress. You could go around town ,and find convienant stores that may hire a young adult as yourself. Nursing homes and homeless shelters may use your services for janitorial uses. Which pays. There is always a job opening if you look at the bulliten boards in your city hall or local stores. Start your own business such as tutorials, or crafts. You could sell t-shirts and keep all the profit yourself without having to worry about commison or other circumstantces in other stores. McDonalds hires at 14 and they are normally always looking for workers. There are plenty of options.(:
