The Savage/Stevens no 521 was made between 1930-1932.
There hasn't been any press releases nor any model changes concering the 17 HMR from Browning. Currently they offer the .17HMR in the T-Bolt model, but not the A-Bolt model. If you havent seen the T-Bolt, check the link below.

It is not possible for you to have a "Model 97" in 30-06. The Winchester Model 97 is a shotgun, and was made in 12-gauge of 16-gauge. The only Winchester models that were or are chambered for the 30-06 rifle cartridge are the Model 54 bolt-action rifle, and the Model 70 bolt-action rifle series.
The Marlin Model 80E bolt-action rifle was produced primarily during the 1950s and 1960s. It was part of Marlin's series of .22 caliber rifles and was known for its reliability and accuracy. Production of the Model 80E continued until the early 1970s, after which it was discontinued.
