No, goldfish do not keep growing throughout their lives. They typically reach their full size within the first few years of their life.
Goldfish do not stop growing and will continue to grow throughout their lives. Their growth is influenced by factors such as diet, tank size, and water quality.
It depends. A feeder goldfish lives to be about 2 years old. A fancy goldfish, (Black Moors, Fantails, etc...) can live to twenty years or more with proper care.
Bettas and goldfish cannot live together. The bettas will be aggressive towards the goldfish because of its flowing fins. Also a betta lives in tropical waters, 75-78 degrees. while a goldfish is coldwater 68-70 degrees.
I would personally say none, not for their entire lives anyway. You may get away with 2 Fancy Goldfish juveniles for a couple of months, but really Fancy Goldfish need a minimum of 20 gallons each and Common/Comet Goldfish a minimum of 55 gallons each for their entire lives! They get very big, are very messy and need a lot of water volume!
No. naturally, there are no goldfish living in the Yamuna river. there might be one or two, which have been put there by their irate owners, who had enough of trying to teach them tricks.
The world record of how long a goldfish lives is 43 years.A normal goldfish lives about for like 10-20 years if in good care but that means you'll need a big fish tank, good filtering and regular water changes. If the fish is kept in a bowl the average life span would be about 6 weeks.
Most goldfish which are purchased with black coloring, except black moors, will usually lose their black coloring at some point in their lives.
I believe the goldfish lives longer . But needs a big tank.:)
Well, when goldfish spawn they lay thousands upon thousands of eggs. The male goldfish then sprays a cloud of milt which fertilises the eggs. For a goldfish to only lay one egg which, somehow triggers a male goldfish to release a cloud of milt, is highly unlikely. Truthfully, it is the person breeding the goldfish who chooses how many fish they are willing to raise. Technically, they could choose to only keep 1 goldfish fry but realistically they would not be willing to throw away the lives of so many baby goldfish fry.
