Nissans are garbage!
The Nissan Altima was introduced in 1992. It was equipped with a 2.4 ltr dual overhead cam engine. Any engine from 1992 to 1998 Altima will fit. The 2.4 was the first generation engine for OBD2 in Nissans. As I stated, there are no 1991 Altimas. The Altima was introduced in late 1991 as the 1992.
1995 nissans do not use a speedometer cable ,they are electronic via sen unit speedometer unit ecm etc.
With the demand for hybrid vehicles rising, most car manufacturers try to keep up with what consumers want. Since 2007, Nissans only hybrid vehicle available was the Altima Hybrid. After its 2011 model, Nissan will stop selling its Altima Hybrid. Unfortunately, this was Nissans only attempt at the hybrid vehicle and was only available in nine states in the US. It was never able to compete in the highly competitive hybrid market.
I would prefer a Toyota or Saturn something that would have a better chance of not breaking down. I do think that Nissans are good for showy cars though.

yes, all nissans starting from the year 1999 have a theft system.

You can fab up your own kit. There is a guy on Dragtimes.com with a supercharged Altima. Currently there is no ready made kit
No. Toyota and Nissan are entirely separate companies.
