Abbey Road Actually they never recorded any CD's ever. They were not even invented yet, The Beatles had split many years earlier than the invention of Cd's. All of their recording were made on vinyl records.
I know of 2 Beatles albums for sure ... Anthology2 & Beatles 1 ... But it has appeared appeared on more than that. It originally appeared on The Beatles "Hey Jude."
Yes, but you can't buy any Beatles music on iTunes except for the stuff sang by "fake" beatles. You would need to buy a CD to listen to their music.
Technically speaking, The Beatles did not create any "CD's". Sony first demonstrated its compact disc in 1976, six years after The Beatles officially disbanded. And CD's were not commercially available until 1982. What you probably mean is how many "albums" did they create. Not counting compilations and the US releases by Capital Records (which essentially created more albums by piecing together parts of the original UK released albums), The Beatles created 13 full albums (12 if you don't count the Yellow Submarine soundtrack which had only 4 new songs). They are... Please Please Me With the Beatles A Hard Days Night Beatles For Sale Help! Rubber Soul Revolver Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Magical Mystery Tour The Beatles (aka "The White Album") Yellow Submarine Abbey Road Let It Be If you are starting a collection of Beatles CD's, I also recommend getting Past Masters Vol. 1 and Past Masters Vol. 2, which include The Beatles singles and b-sides that don't appear on the albums. After all the main CD's, I would then recommend The Anthology CD's (3 double-CD sets) and Live At the BBC (also a double-CD set). Get all these and you have the essential Beatles canon.
Apart from the size, there is no difference.
