This generally depends on what browser you are using, and under what operating system and version is on the computer. For Mozilla/Firefox/Netscape, the bookmarks are actually a file called bookmarks.html For Internet Explorer, each bookmark is a separate file with a .url suffix. For example, if the bookmark is listed as "WikiAnswers" in the Bookmarks menu it would be a file named "WikiAnswers.url" Other browsers have different methods of storing bookmarks. A simple search using the operating system's File Search function will locate the file(s) for you. Once you have located them, copy them to a recordable CD, a floppy disk, or any other removable storage media and transfer them to the other computer. Once you have the file on the new system, do a search for bookmarks.html on that system and replace the file. If you have one or more browsers installed on your computer, make sure to replace the correct bookmarks.html the corresponding folder.
